+ we had a very nice stay at this loving B&B. The breakfast was absolute delicious - everything you could wish of. Everything very clean und the owners very helpful! Told us good tips about Amsterdam and even picked us up at the airport at 2am because our flight was delayed.

+ The couple who run this B&B Rolph and Kitty (I hope I spelled that correctly) are by a long stretch the two most hospitable, friendly and just all round lovely people we have had the pleasure of staying with on our 10 week trip through Europe. If you really want to do something to return their lovely hospitality I suggest you book through their website rather than booking.com or TripAdvisor. They will appreciate that.

Positive Experiences: Visited for three nights with my husband at end October. Was a bit out of the town centre but 10 mins or so on tram which literally stopped a two minute walk away- trams come every few minutes and very cheap way to travel (Around £!" each unlimited for the three days). The owners of the B and B could not have been any more helpful- they ensured we had everything we needed within the B and B, providing us with things we had forgotten like umbrellas and European converters for our phone chargers. They would give us written instructions every day explaining which trams etc to catch and where to get off to allow us to see everything we wanted to see. An airport service is also provided- we got a taxi from the airport which cost us 50 euros!!! However they will collect you and take you back to the airport for only 20 euros so definitely worth taking advantage of this. Breakfasts were lovely each day and in true Dutch style and the place was spotless- right on the canal in a very pretty setting. We will certainly return if the chance arises and would recommend to friends.

+ Very very nice couple that do everything possible to please the guest. We liked them so much we invited them to visit us in Canada. Make sure to book direct from their website and get a bottle of wine included! Breakfast they make iz amazing and the bandb is beautiful. We will stay here again.

+ Everything in B&B Amsterdam West fulfiled my expectations, which were high because of very good rewievs on web and booking.com. The hosts really gave all of them to make our stay comfortable, and to inform us of everithing that is going on in the city. Great people who know how to treat guests and be always available for help. Their breakfast is something you shouldn't skip - every day something else and the choice is great. The room was very clean and bright with view on one of the canals.

+ From start to finish our stay at Amsterdam West was brilliant! Rhalf and Kitty were perfect hosts, picking us up from airport and talking us through the road safety then marking everything worth seeing on a travel guide to help us on our trip. Positive Experiences: Kitty and Rhalf both make your stay quite enjoyable -- great hospitality -- willing to pick you up at airport. Wonderful breakfasts and spend an enormous time in front of a map explaining the highlights to hit in Amsterdam. Try to get the room with the door out to the canal -- we enjoyed eating and drinking at the table there, alongside the ducks and boats passing by on a delightful canal. The B&B is situated perfectly, one block from Tram which is 15 minutes from center of town and easy to manage. Their hospitality and cleanliness is unsurpassed. I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Amsterdam!
