+ Very nice couple. We have to thank you Rhalf for everything, for your kindness and being so helpful by explaining us best way to travel trought the city. Thanks for telling us about the Dutch's culture and history and for the delicious vegan breakfast. This was our honeymoon and we had a very nice experience.

+ Very nice venue in a good location near the metro station, easy to find and well connected to the public transport. Rooms with a personal touch, a small terrace directly on the riverbank and a sauna which was great after a long trip on a cold and rainy day. The bed was very comfortable and cosy. Kitty and Ralph, the owners of the venue, are very friendly and helpful and prepared a delicious breakfast.

+ The room at B&B Amsterdam West was excellent in every way. The location was a short walk from a metro and tram stop for easy access to downtown. The B&B had free parking outside the building. The room included a living/dining room, bedroom, bathroom and small kitchenette area. It was downstairs from the main living area, with a view of and access to a canal. The room was serviced every day when we visited. Breakfast was lovely, with far too much good food available. The hosts were very kind and helpful with Rolph sitting down with us to go over the city and logistics for getting downtown. Would love to return.

- Would have loved a microwave in the room, but not expected and very few of the places we stayed in Europe had them.

+ Everything was excellent! The hosts are very nice person, the room is clean and well equipped, 2mins walk from the tram and metro station, nice view and excellent breakfast! Ah, and the bed was super comfy . Nothing could be better.

+ This B&B was a pleasure to stay at. The variation of food every morning was very lovely, lots of space to hang out in the bedroom, private living area and outdoor space. Lots of nice little details and you can tell the owners have put a lot of love into this place. A very reasonable price too. The owners are local so they recommended things to do and places to visit which I would have never thought of otherwise which is very valuable to have while on holiday.

- I only have two things I wasn't a fan of. For reference, the owners have their own place upstairs and so when staying in the B&B you get the whole downstairs area to yourself. The owners would sometimes come downstairs into our area to get into some cupboards and it can feel a little intrusive, I could imagine if you were with a partner it could be a little awkward sometimes. Secondly, there was more than a couple times where the owners would quite literally sit and watch me eat my breakfast in the morning which made me really uncomfortable. I have no problems them being in the dining area during breakfast but perhaps read a book or focus on something other than me while I eat.

Always good to hear you enjoyed your stay at a reasonable price. Yes we live in the house too, so when you stay 70% of the time of your visit to Amsterdam in your room we will run into each other, we can't simply disappear, same as we can't fade away while preparing breakfast and making sure all is in order. If you don't like us being around during breakfast you should have mentioned that and we would have served breakfast downstairs in the room. But maybe it's best to go for an AirBnB where the owners always magically disappear and not a real Bed and Breakfast like ours.

+ Terrific hosts, a lovely room and the calm but still central location make for a perfect stay. Bikes are available for rent, which is incredibly helpful in Amsterdam. We also received an amazing custom breakfast and can only recommend this B&B to anyone travelling there.

+ The location is very close to both tram and metro lines, the city centre or any other location being easily accessible. The hosts offer a varied breakfast, for all tastes, they are very nice and offer you many useful tips and information about the city. Great value for money.

+ Amazing stay that really influenced the trip! Rhalf and Kitty were such great hosts and took the time to help us make the most of our stay. The space was out of this world nice- clean and huge with a beautiful sitting area right on the canal. The accommodations exceeded expectations. I cannot recommend staying here enough!!

+ Location was perfect 200 meters from metro and tram stop who takes you to city center in 10 to 15 miutes. Bedroom nice, i loved the customs bikes that were decorating it and the view on the canal Breakfast was awesome, really huge and changing everyday ( we were not eating at lunch after having breakfast)

+ Amazing and cosy place where you feel like home. The hosts are really kind and helpful (we had some emergency situation and we got help immediately, which was way more than we expected). Right after we arrived they showed us what to see and where to go in Amsterdam. The room was perfectly clean with an amazing view at the canal. Localization is also perfect, nearby subway station. Delicious, fresh breakfast made by Rhalf on our eyes - hot buns, pancakes together with tasty coffee. It's just the perfect start of the day. For sure we will come back there. We truly recommend this place to everyone!
